Kevin Harvick’s Stewart-Haas Racing team was penalized for infractions found in post-race inspection last weekend at Phoenix Raceway.
Harvick’s No. 4 team was penalized for a track bar mounts and supports violation discovered after his sixth-place finish in the Camping World 500, which is now deemed an encumbered finish.
Crew chief Rodney Childers was fined $ 25,000 and suspended from the next Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series points race this weekend at Auto Club Speedway. The team was assessed with the loss of 10 driver and 10 team owner points.
